Surrounded by football, tennis, hockey, squash and netball facilities Leah was surprised to see the place had a well equipped bar.

So Chardonnay for her and lemon squash for Jill.

Next came a beautiful roast meal provided and served by the Birchip Pre-School ladies.

Birchip is a very active Club, some of their projects over the years include the Birchip Areodrome , the lawn cemetary, Senior Citizens and Re-cycling. They are very proud of the information centre they are currently building.

LeahZone Chairman Ivan and Lions Lady Elva Younghusband travelled up from Inglewood to introduce the District Governor.

Birchip is also a multi-cultural Club with members coming from England, the Phillipines and Sri Lanka.

Leah found she had a well-equipped high-chair and sat proudly at DG Jill's side throughout the meeting.
