Off to Maldon we were told for supper after a business meeting.

What do they mean by this supper; more like a banquet with heaps of sausage rolls, cakes and strawberry sponges.

Maldon meet in their den; what was the old fire station many years ago when horses pulled the pumps along.

The Maldon Club is small in number; but there were 4 prosepctive guests who came along to meet Jill and Leah the Lion.

The Club has six more members in the pipeline. The Club's main project is the Annual Hill Climb in October; and it has just started a local Op Shop.


The Club did not take too kindly to Leah making a pig of herself with the sausage rolls so she was shown quickly how they play darts in Maldon.

Maldon is a Club well worth a visit to. The local members live throughout the town and surrounding district from Newstead to Lockwood South.
